Full-flex Gear Couplings

Full-Flex Gear Couplings are employed to mechanically connect two rotating shafts which have to transmit a torque in a torsionally rigid way.

The torque transmission system is by spherical gear teeth, where the torque is transmitted by the primary shaft from the hub to the sleeve and vice-versa to transmit the torque to the secundary shaft. There is no rigid conecction between hub and sleeve. This gives the chance to correct misalignements, those that results from the assembly, as well as those that appear from the use and wear or the thermal expansion.

For a long life, it is necessary a good maintenance, giving especial attention to the gearing lubrication.
